Fullerton Strategies

Creative Direction & Branding

I have been serving as the Creative Director at boutique marketing & design firm “Fullerton Strategies”. We have tackled branding and marketing strategy for Fintech, B2C & B2B Businesses, non-profits, University Executives, Podcasts, and more –  and have placed  some beautiful brands in a better place than when they started with us.

The brand’s tagline “We Can’t Wait To Break Things With You” existed before brand and logo efforts. This came from something CEO Tim Fullerton’s former colleagues said to him “You like to break things, don’t you?”. Well leave it to me to go all-in on something a bit gruffer and tougher than the normal corporate brand. We decided to brand the company around this, featuring a broken teacup as an icon and a metaphor: the smashing of tradition, formality, and a total disregard of the norm.

Project Highlights
  • Built and coached creative and product team of 10 creatives, copywriters and social strategists.
  • Creative direction for the company that worked with Obama campaign, the department of the interior, and WeWork.
  • Created & Produced a #1 Podcast in News & Government.
  • Created Re-Brands for companies, colleges, and non-profits such as Yale University, Michigan State, Amnesty International, Teach Upbeat, and White Dudes for Harris.
  • Defined brand marketing and content strategy for nationally recognized technology and financial firms including, Marden-Kane, TRAFiX, Exegy, & Dryvve.
Geometric Cutup - Logo

"We Can't Wait to Break Things with You" Inspired a brand of irreverence, non-conformity, and confidence.

The chipped teacup is a slight to tradition and the "same old, same old" way of running a fractional marketing agency.

The chip isn't only the center of the logo, but the center of philosophy
