Fullerton Strategies

Creative Direction, Branding

I have been serving as the Creative Director at boutique marketing & design firm “Fullerton Strategies”. We have tackled branding and marketing strategy for Fintech, B2C & B2B Businesses, non-profits, University Executives, Podcasts, and more – and have placed some beautiful brands in a better place than when they started with us.

The agency’s tagline “We Can’t Wait To Break Things With You” existed before brand and logo efforts. This came from something CEO Tim Fullerton’s former colleagues said to him “You like to break things, don’t you?”. Well leave it to me to go all-in on something a bit gruffer and tougher than the normal corporate brand. We decided to brand the company around this, featuring a broken teacup as an icon and a metaphor: the smashing of tradition, formality, and a total disregard of the norm.

Geometric Cutup - Logo

“We Can’t Wait to Break Things with You”
inspired a playful mixture of irreverence and confidence in the brand’s voice.

The chipped teacup is a slight to tradition and the “same old, same old” way of running a fractional marketing agency. The chip isn’t only the center of the logo, but the center of the philosophy.
