The Cool Kids are your favorite rapper’s favorite rappers! They’re the OG influencers of hip-hop’s golden past and known for bringing the Chicago hip-hop scene into the digital age. Before Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks slid into each other’s MySpace DMs back in 2005, there was no way you could just be a regular kid and rap about self-expression and individualism. The guys hit the scene with some inclusive “be yourself and do your own shit” type of message—and nothing’s really changed. To commemorate TCK’s return to the hip-hop scene, Inglish and Rock have partnered with OneOf to release their genesis NFT collection, “Pre-Weird”. Interpreted from “Before Shit Got Weird”, the NFTs comprise unique artworks of isometric shapes representing the city of Chicago, the pair’s visions of alternate realities, and inspiration from their upbringing.
